  • πŸŽ“ Hey Lyman High Families! πŸŽ‰

On Monday, September 29, 2025, Herff Jones brought the excitement to campus as they handed out the official Class of 2026 Graduation Packs catalogs to our amazing seniors! πŸ₯³

The Basic Pack (#7 on the Herff Jones website) is the must-have bundle for all graduating seniors—it includes the iconic cap, gown, and your Class of 2026 tassel. Deadline to Order is January 31, 2026 πŸŽ“βœ¨

Just a heads-up: To keep things uniform and fabulous for graduation, seniors must use the official Lyman High School cap and gown from Herff Jones. That means no borrowing gear from siblings, cousins, or past grads—even if it’s Lyman gear. Let’s make this year’s ceremony picture-perfect! πŸ“ΈπŸ’™

πŸŽ“ Missed the Grad Pack Party? No worries! πŸ˜Ž

If your senior didn’t catch the Herff Jones meeting, they can still get all the graduation scoop! Just have them swing by the Herff Jones tables in Legacy Hall during lunch on Tuesday, October 7th or Wednesday, October 8th.

They’ll get all the details they need to gear up for the big day—cap, gown, tassel, and all the grad goodies! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘©‍πŸŽ“πŸ‘¨‍πŸŽ“
Let’s make sure no one misses out on the celebration! 🎈

    πŸŽ‰ Graduation Countdown Alert! πŸŽ“

We know you're all buzzing with excitement—and guess what? The official graduation date is almost ready to drop! πŸ—“οΈβœ¨
Mark your calendars (well, kind of): the big reveal will happen in November or December. So stay tuned, seniors and families—your moment in the spotlight is coming soon! 🌟🎀

Let the tassel-turning dreams begin! πŸ’«

  • Remember, this is a privilege, not a right. At the beginning of each year, the Senior Class Officers will meet with the Principal to determine the Senior Privileges that will be allowed during the school year. Here is a summary of potential privileges.

    • Senior Painted Parking Spot (Sponsored by Lyman PTSA)
    • End of the School Day - Leave at the conclusion of the afternoon announcements
    • Please note, there is no such thing as a Senior Skip Day.
  • Memories! Your senior year will be one to remember. To keep the memories alive as you take steps in the next phase of your life, be sure to purchase a yearbook.

  • This is it! The culminating experience for a Lyman High School Student...GRADUATION! This is a dignified ceremony that celebrates ALL of the accomplishments of ALL students. This is the one day each year that all seniors come together wearing the same outfit culminating with the receiving of the high school diploma. Graduation is a privilege for those that meet the requirements to participate.

  • Dear SCPS Senior,

  • Class of 2026 Yard Sign information will be posted in the spring of 2026.

  • Sing it loud and sing it proud! Every Friday, Lyman students and staff sing the Alma Mater at the conclusion of the Pledge of Allegiance. At the end of the year, you will gather around the Greyhound Statue in the Courtyard to take a Senior Photo and sing the Alma Mater one last time on campus. But, that's not the end. At your graduation ceremony, the final event is for all graduating seniors to sing the Alma Mater together before recessing out into the real world. Get to know your alma mater today.

  • Without academics, privileges, ceremonies, and graduation would not happen. Be sure to keep up with your academics so that you can participate and achieve your post-secondary goals.
