SSC Decision Day

Lyman will be taking Senior students who turned in their permission slip to Seminole State College on Friday November 7, 2025.  More information and updates can be found on the SSC Decision Day page of our website.

Junior Credit Checks

Starting the week of November 17 through December 5th, the School Counseling team will be meeting with students through their English class to conduct Junior credit checks.  Counselors will review information critical to students in 11th grade, including college and postsecondary planning.  Students will receive a copy of their transcript and progress toward graduation.

FAFSA Event

Need help completing the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)?  Sign up for a FAFSA lab where Lyman will bring in experts to help students/parents complete their applcation.    

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Lyman Counelors are available every day to see students during Break and Lunch in the Student Services Office.  Students do not need an appointment.  If more time is needed to discuss the topic, the counselor will set an appointment.  Students can also email their counselor by visiting the Contact Us page. 

  • Parents can excuse student absences directly in their Skyward Family Access account.  For information and directions visit the Attendance Page of the Lyman website. 

  • Official and Unofficial transcripts can be requested at any time by visiting the Transcript page of the Lyman website.
