On-Campus Parking Information for Students

2019-2020 Parking Permit Information and Application (PDF)

Parking decals will be available for purchase for $70.00 in the Lyman Gym on the following days.

  • Seniors may purchase their decals on August 2, 8am – 10am
  • Juniors & Seniors may purchase their decals on August 2, 10am – 12pm

Parking decals will go on sale again on the first day of school during break, lunch, and after school until 2:45 P.M. only.

In order to park on campus, students must complete the following:

  1. Clear all student debt with the bookkeeper, including textbooks & library books
  2. Complete the application on the back of this form.
  3. Provide a copy of the vehicle registration.
  4. Provide a copy of the student’s valid driver’s license.
  5. $70.00 cash or a check / money order, made payable to Lyman High School.
  6. Using the adhesive on the parking decal, adhere the parking decal directly to the inside, lower left hand corner of the front windshield so it is easily visible.

*NOTE: If the vehicle is sold or becomes undriveable, remove the parking decal and return it to the Bookkeeper where it will be exchanged for a new decal for $5.00.

  • For the 2019-2020 school year, parking on campus will be general parking. Only Seniors who pay to paint their spot will have reserved parking.
  • Parking on campus is a privilege, which can be taken away for non-compliance of the District Code of Conduct. Parking decals are assigned to an individual and their car. Decals are non-transferable between cars and/or indviduals.
  • Seniors can reserve a space only if they paint a design for the additional $30 fee. This parking space will be chosen on August 17, 2019, the designated painting day.
  • Seniors planning to paint a design must have their design submittd to Mr. Showalter by August 12th. The $30 fee is to be paid on August 17th, the day set aside for the painting of parking spaces.

Students parking on campus WITHOUT a decal, or found in violation of the above stated rules, will receive the following consequences:

  • 1st Offense: Warning sticker placed on the driver’s window.
  • 2nd Offense: Warning sticker placed on the driver’s window and parent contacted. A disicpline referral will be written and recorded.
  • 3rd Offense: Vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.

In order to park on campus, students must complete the following:

  4. Provide a copy of the student’s valid driver’s license.
  5. Write a check for the full amount, made payable to “Lyman High School”.
  6. Place the parking sticker on the lower left hand side of the front windshield so that it is easily visble.

2019-2020 Senior Parking Space Painting Form (PDF) Senior Class Only

For the 2019-2020 school year, seniors, and only seniors, may paint the parking space they will be using this year. You must complete all LHS parking permit paperwork.
