LIAM ROSENFELD MEETS APPLE CEO – TIM COOK!
A sophomore with an app gets a scholarship to Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference
Lyman Sophomore, Liam Rosenfeld was surprised this afternoon by Apple CEO, Tim Cook, at the Apple Store at the Mall at Millenia! Liam recently received a scholarship to attend Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose, CA in June. They wanted to recognize him for this honor. Tim Cook happened to be in town and took the time to meet with Liam along with reporters from the Orlando Sentinel and the online tech magazine, Tech Crunch, to discuss how coding in our schools has impacted his education. Liam even had the opportunity to show Mr. Cook the app he developed! Mrs. Acken was also chosen to attend due to her impact as the sponsor of Lyman’s Coding Club! Congratulations, Liam and Lyman Coding Teacher, Mrs. Mary Acken!
