MORNING DROP-OFF LINE

September 16, 2018

Please pull into the school and do not allow your child to exit the vehicle until you reach the fencing on the side of Building 3.

Over the course of the last few weeks, our staff and others in the community have noticed an issue with students and parents utilizing the drop-off line in the front of the school.  The concern is that many students are being dropped off along Ronald Reagan Blvd. (both on the northbound and southbound side of the road), they are being dropped off right at the front entrance of the school, and also along the path of the drop-off loop.  I understand that this line can take time to navigate, but I need your help as this is not safe.

If you are dropping your child off in the mornings, please pull into the school and do not allow your child to exit the vehicle until you reach the fencing on the side of Building 3. This will alleviate the safety concern of students walking across traffic in the dark each morning.

In addition, for those students who ride the bus, please remind them that once on campus, they are not permitted to leave the campus to go to Dunkin Donuts or the Shell Gas Station.  This is also a problem as students have to cross lanes of traffic that are entering the school.

We will do everything we can to direct traffic and keep the line moving, but we need your assistance as well.  Thank you for your understanding of this very serious safety concern.
