Plan for Success

You are encouraged to work with your parents, academic counselors, and teachers to plan each of your four years at Lyman High School. To plan for success please use all of the resources available to you. Registering for your 10th to 12th grade classes takes place at school in the third quarter of the school year.

The teachers in your current classes will guide you through the process of selecting next year's classes. We invite you to attend Lyman's AP Night, Curriculum Night, and Light Up Lyman (8th grade preview). These annual events will allow you to learn about about our academic programs, and provide time to speak one-on-one with teachers and students in these programs. To round out your core courses, meet requirements for your high school diploma, and develop a broad range of skills, we encourage you to research the CTE, Fine Arts, and general electives.
